Turn 90 degrees to the left by shifting the left leg and pivoting on the right.
Move into a stance with both feet together (moa sogi) with covered fist (bo joomeok).
Note: Initially, hands are off to the side in fists. Fingers of the left hand should be straightened as hands are brought together to the front to form the covered fist (with left hand covering the right fist). Bring it up with palms up while breathing in and standing on the ball of the feet. When ready, turn the fist so that the palms are down while exhaling and setting the heels on the floor.
