Slide left foot back to make ready stance (pyeonhi sogi) with left downward hammer fist strike (wen me joomeok naeryo chigi).
Note: Before the stance change, the left arm should be pulled back hard as if to shake off the grasp of an attacker. In this movement, the body should be facing the same direction as the beginning of the form. The face, however, should be looking toward the hammer fist. The hammer fist is struck downward it is NOT a back fist strike. This also applies to Movement 4.
